STUDY WORKSHEET · 6 OCTOBER 2026
Put a CPTE setup rehearsal on your study calendar
Keep exam logistics separate from content study with a rehearsal checklist based on current official candidate instructions.
Give examination logistics their own preparation block. A study schedule can cover topics thoroughly while leaving setup questions unresolved. The aim of a rehearsal is to identify those questions early, using the official instructions that apply to your examination.
Start from the current instructions
CAPR’s Preparing for Exam Day page links to testing setup requirements and an exam-day flow resource. Use those materials and the instructions provided for your booking as the authority. This article does not replace them or supply a separate technical specification.
Record the date you checked the instructions and where you found them. If two messages seem inconsistent, seek clarification through the official support route rather than choosing the more convenient interpretation.
Create a requirement-to-action sheet
| Requirement from official instructions | Your action | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Identity or booking detail to check | Locate and verify the required information | Done / question |
| Setup requirement | Complete the specified check | Done / question |
| Timing or check-in instruction | Put it in your calendar accurately | Done / question |
| Problem-reporting procedure | Keep the official instructions accessible | Done / question |
Copy the actual requirements into your private sheet. Do not substitute a study partner’s recollection or an old social-media checklist for the current version.
Practise the process you can legitimately test
Use official tutorials or specified checks where available. Keep tutorial familiarity separate from any required technical validation: completing one does not automatically prove the other is satisfied. Do not assume a practice session reproduces every condition of exam day.
Make a note of anything you could not complete. “I will probably be fine” is not a resolved item. Contact the appropriate official support channel with a clear description, without posting private booking or identity information publicly.
Keep a short unresolved list
For each issue, record the question, the source you consulted and the next action. Give yourself time to receive an answer. Avoid leaving changes that depend on another person or provider until the final evening.
A fictional candidate might finish a tutorial but still be unsure about a booking instruction. Those are two separate statuses: tutorial completed, booking question open. This small distinction prevents a general feeling of preparedness from hiding an unfinished task.
Protect the last preparation block
Schedule a final review of current instructions and confirmations, rather than using that time to discover the requirements for the first time. Follow official procedures if a problem occurs; do not improvise around examination rules.
Add the rehearsal and follow-up block to the QuietStride study planner. Content practice and logistics serve different purposes, and both deserve visible time on the calendar.

Fit the resource to your available practice time
- Set a realistic study capacity
Count time you can use for practice and review.
- Name the resource gap first
Compare purpose, coverage, evidence and usability before adding material.
- Keep a coverage evidence record
Record the reference used and what still needs work.
- Inspect an authorized sample
Check a sample against the specific practice task you need.
