Written mock, oral simulation or complete CPTE preparation?
Choose by the gap you are trying to close. A practice run, a spoken reasoning exercise and a teaching package serve different purposes. Start with the free sample before deciding.
Useful when you want to practise explaining priorities and decisions aloud. Review is self-directed; it is not a live examiner session or automated oral grading.
Prices are in CAD. These are one-time purchases with no automatic renewal. Purchases require a Canadian billing address. Check the product page for current release availability and purchase and refund terms.
Compare the job, not only the item count
Record the task a mock would support and whether you already have access. Inspect current scope and terms before deciding.
“I have learning materials, but need a timed written practice run.”
Inspect the written sample explanations, then consider a written mock. Make time afterward to review guesses and errors.
“I need to organize an answer and say it aloud.”
Start with the free oral case and worksheet. If the format helps, an oral simulation provides additional cases for self-review.
“My practice gaps keep sending me back to scattered notes.”
Review the complete package’s teaching scope and limitations. Check whether the included learning content fills a real gap in your existing resources.
“I already own Complete CPTE Prep.”
Written and oral mocks are included during your package access. Sign in to your existing account before considering a standalone purchase. Subject tests are separate.
What you are seeing in the free sample
The sample contains four selected written questions and one oral case from the first mock forms. Those items also appear in their source paid mocks. The sample is intentionally small and is not a blueprint-balanced test or readiness assessment.
Use it to inspect the quality of explanations and the review approach, rather than treating a familiar answer as evidence of performance on new material.
How to get value from a mock
Before: decide whether this attempt is a learning exercise or timed rehearsal. Use official CAPR instructions for real examination logistics.
During: commit to your answer or spoken explanation before reviewing supporting material.
After: review correct guesses as well as errors. Record the pattern, reference to check and one next action in the free mock-review workspace.
Next session: apply the corrected idea to different material. Add review time to your study plan.
No. These are independently created QuietStride educational materials. QuietStride is not affiliated with or endorsed by CAPR. Practice results do not establish competence or predict examination performance.
Does an oral mock include live feedback?
No. Oral simulations support spoken practice and self-review with case criteria and worked reasoning. They do not include a live examiner, one-to-one coaching or an official oral score.
Are subject tests included in Complete CPTE Prep?
Standalone subject tests are separate purchases. The included mock forms are the written and oral mocks. Check the specific form and your existing access before purchasing.
What happens after purchase?
Sign in with the same account used for the purchase, open the test catalogue and choose your form. Existing customers can use the access and support guide. Product access remains subject to the stated term and current release status.
