CPTE RESOURCE CHOICE · PRACTICAL WORKSHEET

Inspect CPTE feedback for a useful next task

Evaluate the usefulness of study feedback by checking the observation, evidence, uncertainty and a specific follow-up task.

Start with an observable point

Useful feedback should identify something you can examine: a missing step in your explanation, a claim that needs checking, or a point where reasoning became unclear. Broad praise or criticism alone does not tell you what to change.

Ask what supports the correction

Distinguish the person’s observation from their suggested explanation. Check relevant authorized references or discuss an unresolved point with an appropriately qualified instructor. This guide does not provide clinical corrections or examiner criteria.

Name what remains uncertain

If two comments conflict, write the disputed point and what evidence would resolve it. Do not choose the more confident voice automatically. Use the existing conflicting-feedback guide to keep a correction record.

Turn the comment into a task

Examples of process tasks include locating the source, restating your explanation in clearer words, or using a different authorized prompt to revisit the reasoning. The task should follow from the specific observation, rather than repeating an entire resource without purpose.

Record what a sample demonstrated

In the resource-fit workbench, note whether the sample helped you identify a next task and which limitation remains. Keep self-review tools, automated feedback and individual instruction distinct; do not assume one includes another.

Use the comparison, then choose a task

Write the decision and a revisit trigger so the comparison leads to an action.
