Define the window you actually need

Write the period when you intend to use the resource. Compare it with the current product access terms, including when access starts and what happens when it ends. Do not use remembered terms from an old post.

Inspect the full purchase conditions

Check the current total, currency, billing eligibility, renewal conditions and refund terms on the provider’s official pages and final checkout. Record the date and source privately. A comparison worksheet is not a substitute for the contract you accept.

Check existing access before paying

Look in the account you used for prior purchases. Identify material included in an existing package and whether a proposed additional purchase duplicates it. If a payment is unresolved, use the provider’s help process before paying again.

Try the device and workflow

Use an authorized sample on the device you intend to study with. Check reading, controls and the review workflow. Record limitations and ask about features you cannot inspect. Do not infer support for every device from one successful trial.

Leave missing answers visible

Use “Not verified / unsure” when terms are unclear. Ask a specific question through the provider’s current support route. Avoid sending card details or private exam information. Return to the workbench once you have an answer.
