CPTE RESOURCE CHOICE · RETURN WORKFLOW

Close the comparison with one next action

A comparison is useful when it changes what you do next. You do not need to declare a winning provider. A useful outcome can be a trial with material you already own, a question to clarify or a decision to leave the comparison until you have evidence.

Write the decision in a sentence

Use “For this task, my next action is…” and include the reason that matters to you. Keep the task narrow. A choice for explanation review does not automatically settle what to use for every topic or practice format.

Preserve the condition that could change it

Record the open point that matters most. A fictional example: “I will try my existing resource first. If I still cannot find explanations for the gap, I will inspect another authorized sample.” This makes a conditional decision explicit without pretending uncertainty has disappeared.

Choose a revisit trigger

Set a date or practical trigger, such as completing the trial, receiving an access clarification or changing your available study time. The trigger is a reminder you manage, not an automatic notification. Do not treat a review date as a preparation deadline or an exam-readiness threshold.

Keep a private portable record

The workbench can download a JSON comparison for restoring later and a plain-text decision brief for reading. Both files contain your entered notes. Keep them private and download a replacement after changes; earlier downloads do not update automatically. Restoring previews a valid file first. Choose Replace to change the current comparison, or Cancel to keep it.

Turn the action into a session

Use the study planner or saved study workspace to reserve time. A comparison choice is not a subscription, purchase or assessment. Check current product and purchase terms separately before paying.
